A5 leaflets boost sales for Hair Salon

Hair Salon owner Ricky Gibson explains how getting some A5 flyers has turned his business around in the tough economic climate.

Costs have increased recently, and the drain on customers has made the business environment challenging to small companys. Ricky Gibson a hair salon owner is interviewed about how cheap A5 leaflet printing has been the centre piece of his marketing campaign. A well designed A5 flyer can help bring in sales in tough times.

Friends thought that A5 printing would just soak up more cash

Ricky calls over an assistant to help as another customer is spotted coming in, “Family and friends thought that A5 printing would just soak up more cash.” he explains.

"If you find decent quality A5 flyer printing online, you can get your A5 leaflets printed for less than on the high street. 5000 A5 flyers cost me £70 including free delivery"

Not just any old A5 printers will do, Ricky says that the quality of the A5 print is most important. When you pickup A5 full colour leaflets and feel the material, the thickness and finish are noticed before you even look at the A5 flyer design. A good thick glossy A5 flyers printing radiates high quality and sends a message out to the customer that your making money and arean't scared of spending on the customer. Ricky goes on.

“It shows your customer that you most likely apply the same principle to other areas of your business. High quality A5 leaflet printing sends out a different signal, it shows you’re a premium business.”

He invites me on a tour of the premises. It seems he applies the high quality principle to other areas of his company. Every small piece of deco and item of furniture radiates pound signs, or is he just getting a good deal? Back to the A5 colour leaflets, it seems that the A5 flyer paper isn’t the only thing that makes a difference. As well as getting cheap A5 colour printing to keep the costs down, its important to get good A5 flyer designs. Cheap flyer printing is great, but its no good if they look cheap.

“People always look for cheapest A5 flyer printers and forget that thedesign is just as important as the A5 leaflet paper. My competitors have tried to copy my success by getting their own A5 leaflets produced. They end up spending £100’s and falling flat on their faces.”

Get a low cost A5 flyer printed and don’t design it yourself on paint!

He explains that for the best results don't just use an amateur A5 leaflet template, include the following when designing your A5 flyers:

1) ACTION POINT: What do you want the customer to do? E.g. call a number, visit a web address, visit a place on a set date

2) RETAINABILITY: What is stopping the potential customer throwing the leaflet away as soon as they have looked at it? E.g. something free, a ref no, discount coupon

3) DEADLINE: What will get the quickest results? E.g. only on a certain day, offer expires.

“Flyer design isn’t taken that seriously. People generally think that if they 5000 A5 leaflets printed and get enough out, it will spread the word. Bad A5 flyer print can actually send out the wrong message.”

The manager leaves me with his motto for leaflet printing campaigns:

‘Get a low cost A5 flyer printed and don’t design it yourself on paint!’
